It includes one USB Type-C port but no 3.5mm audio jack, AUX input, 3.5mm male connector, external memory slot, microphone input, or Ethernet connection, and Wi-Fi is not supported. On the wireless codec side, none of the advanced audio codecs — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, aptX Low Latency, AAC, or LDAC — are present, and there is no support for AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth LE Audio, DLNA, or NFC pairing.
The JBL Charge 6 operates wirelessly and supports smartphone remote control, allowing playback management from a paired device. It also functions as a power bank, enabling it to charge other devices directly, and includes a sleep timer along with voice prompts for audio feedback during use. Fast pairing, voice commands, a mute function, and a built-in radio are not available on this model.
